Alice believes that true wellbeing comes from finding balance in the body, and balance in your life and this is a philosophy that she brings into everything she does – be it working one-to-one with her clients, creating recipes, or speaking at events or seminars.

Having qualified 10 years ago, she has mastered the application of cutting-edge nutritional science for real people living real life. Her sage, realistic advice and depth of experience makes her Chelsea based clinic a popular choice for those wanting help with anything from low energy, anxiety and digestive concerns, to hormonal imbalances, immune issues and migraines. She has a particular love of skin health, and helps her clients overcome an array of skin conditions, which is also what led her to launch her award-winning supplement range Equi in 2016.

The body is complex, and whether you want help with general wellbeing, low energy, sleep disturbances, digestion, skin, mood or an auto-immune condition, Alice works to get a picture of the health of your whole body rather than just addressing specific symptoms in one area.

But why?

Because everything is connected - low energy can be linked with hormone health, and immunity is reliant on good gut health. This functional medicine approach is what allows Alice to delve deeper to understand what is going on with complex health issues, and to get meaningful results.

As well as running events for corporates (learn more here) Alice is regularly asked to contribute to press articles on all subjects related to nutrition, and has been invited to speak on the BBC, Al Jazeera, as regularly filming videos for various brands and websites.

Having always had an affinity for health and wellbeing, Alice dreamt of being a doctor as a teenager, but life had other plans. It was when she was studying Biomedical Sciences as an undergraduate that she began to take an interest in nutrition and how this might play a part in not only managing ill health, but crucially, preventing it.

She followed her calling, which sparked a lifelong passion for nutritional science, leading her to study nutrition therapy at CNELM where she graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in 2012.

Alice began practising on Harley St at the then renowned Food Doctor clinic before opening her own clinic in 2016 in West London.

Alice now works across a range of different areas within the nutrition world. As well as running her busy clinic, she is regularly invited to run seminars and events in a corporate setting or consult for new hotels and business in the wellbeing sector. She is a published author of the best-selling book The Happy Kitchen and founder of award-winning supplement range for women, Equi

Alice is an accredited member of BANT and the CNHC, and each year completes regular training on the latest nutritional science as part of her continued practitioner development, which keeps her fully immersed in the latest research.

As a Mum and business owner, I understand all too well the day-to-day realities of navigating a modern hectic lifestyle and juggling too many balls, all whilst trying to look after yourself! My non-judgemental, realistic approach is suited to those who want no-nonsense, tailored guidance that is realistic and achievable.” — Alice

Get to know Alice better

Beach or mountains?

Mountains! For me, nothing compares to being in the fresh mountain air with hearty local food.

Asian food, or Italian?

I grew up in Hong Kong, so for me Asian just tips it. I do make a mean Vongole though…

Morning person or night owl?

I’m definitely a morning person, which is good because my son bounces off the walls from the moment he wakes up, so requires my full energy until I get him to nursery!

Botox or all-natural?

I’m pretty non-judgemental about tweakments when they are done well, but for me it is all about maximising the health of the skin you have before doing these – this is what gets the best long-term results and really makes you glow from within.

Regular milk or dairy free?

I’m a big fan of full fat organic milk in my cup of tea each afternoon, and couldn’t be without this, but I always add nut milk to my smoothies.

What advice would you
give your young self?

For goodness sake go with the flow! As a person with control freak tendencies, I’m still trying to master this, but having kids has forced me to get better at letting go of ‘the plan’.

Best subject at school?

Biology – obviously! I’m a science geek at heart.

Vegan or paleo?

Though I have full respect for people choosing either, neither is for me – I don’t cut anything out of my diet, I just try to keep it balanced and in tune with my body and lifestyle.

Yoga or spin?

I used to be a spin addict, but I’ve slowed down as I’ve got older. My two pregnancies threw up hip and back issues and so I’ve got more into resistance training. I drop my son off at nursery and try to do a quick 25 minutes at home before work – it usually only happens twice a week but that makes all the difference to me.

Cats or dogs?

100% dogs, I can’t wait to get one of my own!

A fun night out, or an Epsom
salt bath and a good book?

I couldn’t possibly choose; I need a bit of both in my life!
